The revenue from telecommunication services received by entities of all property forms, amounted to 50.3 billion UAH., 2.9 billion UAH. more than for the same period of the last year, of which 18.4 billion UAH - services provided to population. The biggest income was gained by operators/service providers for mobile communication (2.2 billion UAH) and providence of Internet access(0.5 billion UAH).

In the Institute for Special Communication and Information Protection of National Technical University of Ukraine "Kiev Polytechnic Institute" solemn events to mark the fifth anniversary of it`s creation took place.

Today the First Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine Andriy Kliuev has presented the new Chairman of the State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine Gennadiy Reznikov which was appointed to the post according to the President of Ukraine Decree from 12.16.2011 № 1131/2011.

According to the State Service of Statistics of Ukraine data the operators of all ownership patterns in communication field for 11 months of 2011 received incomes more than 45,9 billion hrn. That `s almost for 2,6 billion hrn. more than the incomes of similar period of 2010; the value-added tax from them has made over 6,8 billion hrn.
